12 Years

12 years. That seems a long time. However, if we live in Jupiter that’s considered only a year, for that’s how long Jupiter takes to complete a full circle around the sun – 12 Earth years.

That’s also how long this blog has been in existence. 12 Earth years.

The number 12 they say is a symbol of cosmic order. 12 is the number of time and space. There are 12 months in a year. There are 12 hours in a clock. There are 12 zodiac signs. There are 12 animal signs in Chinese zodiac years.

That means this blog has gone a full cycle in Chinese zodiac years. It was the year of the Tiger in 2010, and now it’s again the year of the Tiger this 2022.

I want to thank you my readers for continuing to follow and read this blog after all these long years.

12 also signifies fullness and completeness. That’s why in the Bible there is a lot of 12 – the 12 tribes of Israel, the 12 disciples, the 12 gates of the New Jerusalem, and the 12 kind of fruits from the Tree of Life in Revelation, and so much more. The number 12 is a number of perfection.

Since 12 is completeness, is this a sign that I should end now this blog? After all 12 years of blogging is far beyond the expectations.

On second thought, I am still getting busy traffic on this blog, and you my readers continue to come and visit. So I will continue to write.

Besides one more year, and it will be 13. That’s more of a ‘lucky’ number.
