Flowering Tree

Once every year, during spring, the front of our house will be bursting in color of bright pink. It is due to our flowering crabapple tree. All the little flowers in this tree will turn into fruit later on.

Even though it has the “crab” and the “apple” in its name, the fruit of this tree is not something that humans can eat. But the birds and other creatures, including insects, can definitely benefit from it. I guess for humans, we just appreciate its beauty.

But these flowers lasts only for a few days and then they will fall off to the ground. So I’ll enjoy them while they last. Isn’t that true for everything else in life?
