After almost a decade, I am back to the place that gave me so much inspiration (see previous post here). Though last time we were in the South Rim, but this time we visited the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.

No photograph nor verbal description of the Grand Canyon can do justice of its splendor. It will never suffice. You have to experience it in person. In fact a visit to the Grand Canyon is an iconic American experience for the longest time as it was declared a national park by President Woodrow Wilson way back in 1919.
Did you know the Grand Canyon National Park encompasses a whopping 1,217,403 acres? Plus, the canyon itself is a mile deep and averages 10 miles in width.

When I was in high school and was living in Manila (Philippines), I placed a poster in my room which is a picture of the Grand Canyon, with these words on it: “You are only limited by the boundaries of your mind.”
I believed it.
Somehow I imagined that I will visit it someday. Many years passed, that inspiration has driven me to where I am now, in both dreams and destination.

As I stood here in awe, it never ceases to inspire me still. Truly, no boundaries.

Wow, doc. This is truly breathtaking… Whew..
Yes indeed. Put it on your bucket list to visit.
I haven’t got a bucket 😁 🪣 seriously, though, perhaps one day someday. I’d buy a woodland first. And find a hedgehog 🦔
Lol parang word salad Lang 😊 have fun!
It’s a GRAND canyon indeed. When we visited it several years back it was late winter with a thin snow covering the ground. The resulting color contrasts – white and earth colors – were incredible.
Snow will make it interesting. Though the drive to some of the view points may be close if the roads are snow covered.
Believe it or not mayroon mga canyon dito sa Roma… syempre hindi ganitong kalawak pero mayroon at wild pa
Beautiful pics, thank you for sharing this inspiration!
Thank you for your kind words and thank you for visiting.
