It is November. Here in the northern hemisphere, the sun’s path is drifting southward and the days are definitely shorter. The daylight savings time ended last weekend, pulling the time an hour backward. That means sunrise is an hour earlier, 7 AM this morning instead of almost 8 AM a week ago. But that means sunset is earlier too.
Here was the sunrise as viewed from our yard this morning.

We also had some rain the past few days, watering the earth and the grass, that should not be growing anymore but still is, which to my chagrin, extends the mowing season. There are more leaves also that have fallen, littering the ground.
Somehow the rain brings out the color more.

We still have a seasonably warm weather. Though I am not complaining, for if our temperature have been colder, all the rains we had would have been snow. In fact, even the plants are confused. We have some neighbors here that their plants which usually bloomed in spring, like iris and lilac bloomed this November!
As for me, I went out and just enjoyed this beautiful November morning.
