Expert Advice #001

This is a simple tip for all patients that will visit their doctor in an outpatient clinic:

Take a shower and brush your teeth (even if you don’t have the habit of doing these) before you head up to the doctor’s office. This will increase your chances that your physician will listen to you more, examine you better, and spend longer time with you.

If your goal though is to get in and out of the clinic as quickly as possible, then do the opposite. The doctor may not even schedule you for a follow-up visit!
