Today is Monday. But since I worked over the weekend, I am off today.
It is a good day to decompress, relax, and have a morning walk with my wife. Good time to capture photos as well.

The autumn air is cold and crisp. The morning sky is clear and has a colorful hue. While the sun is just waking up to greet us, “Good Morning!”

The fall foliage colors are at its peak in our neighborhood. Not too long from now these trees will shed their leaves and will be bare. Might as well enjoy and appreciate them while they last. Same with life. Everything is ephemeral.

Then we saw this guy standing vigilantly at the side of the road. Is he guarding the mailbox or the garbage bin? Or maybe he is just guarding his life as he scurried away when we got near him. It is hunting season in our area after all. We mean you no harm, buddy!

Perhaps these are the lessons for the day from this walk: Take time to relax. Enjoy life’s beauty even if it is fleeting. And guard your life, for it is the only one you got.
Have a good week everyone.
