I calmly turned to my wife who’s fuming, “Please put down the BB gun my darling.”

Who can resist these adorable creatures? Seeing deers are exciting, to me at least. It kind of brings back happy childhood memories. All the best to you and your family.
I can’t argue, they look adorable. But they eat our flowers and planted vegetables, that’s why we don’t like them so much.
